Dear Parents/Guardians,
Hi, my
name is Kristin Becker. Berkley’s new PTO president for the 2009-2010
year. I hope you have all enjoyed your summer so far, and are enjoying
what’s left of it. I would just like to share with you a few activities
that we have been planning for the school year.
-September 8th- first PTO
meeting of the school year. This meeting will be held in the Media Center
at 7:30 pm. Also, childcare and refreshments will be provided.
-September 24th-
Back-To-School Night at 7pm.
-October 3rd- Family Fun
Day from 10 am to 3 pm.
-December 2nd to 4th-
Holiday Shoppe
-February 13th- Kids’
Tricky Tray
-February 27th- Tricky
Tray/ Beefsteak Dinner
These are
only some of the events planned for the upcoming school year. Towards the
beginning of the school year, the PTO will be asking for membership dues,
which are only $10 per family. By paying your dues, you are helping provide
your children with field trips, assemblies, and much more.
