WOW…..where did April go? Time really does fly when you are having fun!! A much needed week off also helped the month move quickly. Third grade returned from Spring Break and went to the IMAX Theatre to see 3-D Under the Sea. This made a nice connection to the animal life cycles and adaptations we have been studying in Science these past few weeks. Next we will be taking a look at the life cycles of plants, too.

In Math we have done a great job learning our multiplication facts, and are quickly learning our division and will be moving on to multiplying and dividing larger numbers as well.  Now we just need to remember to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and PRACTICE….even at home. In Social Studies we will be looking at how the United States became a country and formed the government that is still in place today.  

With all of these exciting things going on in Third Grade we can not forget about the NJASK3! We have been preparing all year for this big test and are ready to take during the second week of May! Remember to get your rest and eat a good, healthy breakfast – you’ll be surprised what a difference it can make!
