Department Overview

Philosophy The Special Education department at New Milford High School is a team that works together to help all students meet their individualized goals. Our staff is committed to the guidelines of the school’s mission statement where we work as a small, diverse community to engage, nurture, ensure and encourage all students. We support the inclusion model for instruction, in which each student is placed in their least restrictive environment.
