The Class of 2013 and 1st Annual Powder Puff Champions would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.
Throughout the month of December, we held several fundraising events. The t-shirt/sweatshirt/sweatpants sale was a huge success. A large number of the freshman class participated in this fundraising event.
We also held our first Babysitting Night in the High School cafeteria. This event was offered for New Milford students in grades K-5. More than 30 students from the freshman class volunteered to babysit from 6-9:30. During this time we played games, puzzles, crafts, pizza and ended the evening with a movie. It was a huge success.
Our final activity for the month of December was helping out the senior class with the morning bagel sales. Several 9th grade students volunteered their time early in the morning selling bagels and water.
We are looking forward to hosting a second babysitting night in February as well as the 3rd Annual Pancake Breakfast and carnival in the spring.
