Mrs. Swarctz has been teaching music at New Milford School District for the past 25 years.  She is a passionate, experienced and creative music teacher with a proven ability to get the very best out of her students.  During her tenure at NMHS, she has taught High School Concert Choir, Select Choral Ensemble, Vocal Music Theory Honors, High School Orchestra, Musical Theater, Piano Lab, 8th Grade Chorus and 8^th Grade General Music.   She is the Music Director of the Spring Musical, Advisor of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and Assistant Director of the Academies.   Her students are among the members of such groups as the Bergen County Chorus, the North Jersey Region 1 Chorus, the New Jersey All State Chorus, and the All Eastern Chorus, as well as the North Jersey Region 1 Orchestra and the New Jersey All State Orchestra. They have achieved such distinctions as the Classical Rising Star Award, Best Ensemble Rising Star Award, the Best Actor Rising Star Award, and the Roy Meyers Outstanding Vocalist Scholarship. They have performed on national television and with recording artists.  Mrs. Swarctz is very proud and in constant awe of what her students continue to achieve.
