    Apps to Love
    Orton-Gillingham Multi-Sensory Institute recommends these apps for practicing phonics, fluency, sight words, and comprehension.  There are choices for lower and upper elementary students.

    Storyline Online
    This great website has famous actors and actresses reading quality children’s fiction.  You see all of the pictures, just as if you were listening to a live read aloud. 

    Epic! - Books for Kids
    Epic! provides access to thousands of chapter, picture, comic, non-fiction, and fiction books for children ages 2-12.  The first month is free, and the cost is $4.99/month after that.  

    Parent Tool Kit
    On this useful website, parents/guardians can access suggestions for helping their child meet today's vigorous standards. Information is organized by grade level from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade and is easy, practical, and free.

    Scholastic Book Search
    Scholastic offers the ability to find “just-right” books for your child. You can search by title, author, or interest. Click on the book’s individual page to find its reading level.

    Time For Kids
    Real life reading is the most important type of reading. There are real life articles about today’s current events and on topics that interest children.

    This app offers commercial free, screen free, uninterrupted story time for a small fee.  It is geared towards listeners ages 4-12. Listen to it at home, in the car, on the beach, at a sibling's sporting event, or any time you wish!
