No Name-Calling Week

No Name-Calling Week is an annual week of educational activities aimed at ending name-calling of all kinds and providing schools with the tools and inspiration to launch an on-going dialogue about ways to eliminate bullying in their communities.

At both elementary schools, students will be recognizing the importance of “No Name Calling” through school-wide theme days during the week of January 21 – 29, 2019.

The daily themes are as follows:

Monday – MLK Holiday – No School…Take the time to reflect upon Martin Luther King’s dream.

Tuesday- Mismatch Day... "We are all different and we should appreciate our differences"

Wednesday- Red, White, and Blue Day... "United we stand, divided we fall"

Thursday- Sweats Day... "Saying nice things is no sweat"

Friday- Sports Day..."We are all good sports if we treat each other like we are on the same team"

I look forward to seeing the students support No Name-Calling Week with participation in school wide themes, classroom activities, and ongoing behavior that supports what is celebrated during this theme week.

Thank you,
