As you are aware, our Superintendent has enacted a district-wide protocol for entrance into school buildings where visitors must present an official photo ID. Visitor IDs will pass through a scanner in the main office and visitors will be issued a personalized ID sticker. This ID badge must be worn at all times while in the building and returned to the office when visitors check out upon leaving the building.
In the interest of maximizing efficiency and ease of access, while maintaining the safety of our students and staff, we will be implementing a new drop off procedure for incidental items effective immediately. If your child forgot something at home (e.g. lunch, book, instrument, etc.) or you are dropping off party treats, please leave the item on the “Drop and Go” table located in the front foyer. Markers and post-it notes will be available for you to label items so they can be properly distributed.
Remember, if you need to come into the building for any reason, the office staff will ask for an official ID (examples were detailed in the Superintendent’s email).
