1:1 Student Insurance Protection Plan Grades 1-12

Parents/Guardians of students in grades 1-12 have the option to purchase a 1:1 Student Insurance Protection Plan for their Chromebook to cover repair and replacement costs if the device is accidentally damaged or stolen. The 1:1 Student Insurance Protection Plan is non-transferable and non-refundable. Once purchased, coverage is in effect from the day the device is received through the last day of the school year. 

The cost of the optional Protection Plan for the 2023-2024 school year is $40.00.

If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, your cost will be free ( $0), reduced ($20).

For students who join the New Milford School district in the 3rd marking period, the 1:1 Student Insurance Protection Plan cost is reduced to $20.00.

What does the insurance cover?

• The 1:1 Student Insurance Protection Plan COVERS accidental damages for any issues with the device such as:

  • Cracked screens

  • Broken keyboards

  • Drops

  • Liquid spills

  • Power adapters

  • Loaner devices and other accessories that are issued to the student while/if their Chromebook is under repair.

• There is a discounted fee for lost Chromebook and/or power adapter.
