While academics plays the most vital role in helping to shape a student's future, athletics plays an important part as well. Life lessons of sacrifice, perseverance, responsibility, teamwork, and commitment are reinforced through athletics. We hope that our athletes will strive to be the best they can be daily both in the classroom and in athletics. Even a higher education school such as Princeton University promotes athletics and its "cocurricular experience." (Refer to Princeton University Athletics)
At New Milford we expect our athletes to represent the school with respect and dignity as well demonstrate character and sportsmanship on and off the field. Appropriate expectations are always expressed by our teams and coaches. Be the best that you can be as a person and a student athlete.
