Jennifer Guardino attended William Paterson University, where she received a Bachelors Degree in Communications with a certification in Elementary Education.  She is in her 22nd year of teaching in the New Milford School District. She started her student teaching at B.F. Gibbs Elementary School and then began her career in education there as a second grade teacher.  Ms. Guardino currently teaches second grade at Berkley Street Elementary School.  She is a strong advocate in cooperative learning opportunities, small group instruction, and the incorporation of technology into daily lessons.  She enjoys working at the  morning Knight Care program where students continue to learn, socialize, craft, and play.   Her goal is to develop independent, life-long learners who acquire a love for learning.
