Mrs. Oliviero is the Library Media Specialist at Berkley Street and B.F. Gibbs Elementary Schools.  She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an Elementary Education Teacher Certification (K-8). Mrs. Oliviero has two Masters Degrees.  A Masters Degree in Library and Information Science specializing in School Media from Pratt Institute with a School Library Media Certification (K-12) and a Masters Degree of Science in Educational Technology from Ramapo College.  She also holds a Supervisory Certification and a New Jersey State Librarian Certificate.

Mrs. Oliviero organizes schoolwide reading programs, author visits, teaches 1st grade students in the REACH program (Reaching Excellence through Academic CHallenge), and 3rd-5th grade LEAP (Learning Enrichment Activities Program) Coding/MakerSpace.

As an educator, she values her job and the opportunity that she will have to work one-on-one with her colleagues to provide the students with the skills needed to become 21st Century learners. Students visit the Media Center every two weeks for technology or media skill instruction and borrow books. Mrs. Oliviero is looking forward to another school year assisting the students and faculty of Berkley and Gibbs Elementary School.
