Janine Gianfredi

Janine Gianfredi is a 1998 graduate of NMHS.

Most recently, Janine served as the Chief Marketing Officer of the United States Digital Service, a startup at the White House founded by President Barack Obama. USDS was created to bring the country's top technology and design talent to the Federal government to deliver better services to all Americans.

Before joining the White House, Janine spent ten years at Google/Alphabet in New York and California, most recently as the Head of Marketing for Google[x], where she was responsible for marketing products such as Google Glass and the self-driving car. She launched Alphabet's first autonomous unit—Verily Life Sciences—overseeing brand, creative development, and messaging.

Janine lives in San Francisco with her husband George and dogs named Duncan and Donut. She enjoys cooking, yoga, literature, and mentorship. She also loves to travel, which she attributes to her first trip to Europe with NMHS, where she spent time in southern Italy with her friends and teachers.
